Principal’s Message
Notes from the PTO
Dear Cabrillo families, Happy Fall everyone!! Usually we start out the year with such a rush of information and “asks” it feels overwhelming. We hope this year, with an untraditional start of the year, you have had time to get routines going, settle in to a new style of learning, and established communication with your teacher and class liaison. As we roll into October we would like to announce we are kicking off our Annual Direct Donation Drive for Cabrillo School! Your direct donation to Cabrillo PTO goes to pay for Art Supplies, Spindrift Classes, various materials that are sent home and supports teachers in their classrooms. 100% of your donation will be put to these amazing programs and materials that are vital to teachers and students! Also, as we do at the beginning of the year, we are asking for a donation for teacher’s appreciation so that class liaisons can purchase gifts for your child’s teacher on behalf of the class. All of this information and donations can be easily be made by visiting our website. We know this is a difficult time, so please donate if you can. Cabrillo students and teachers thank you! (Please remember, ask your employer if they offer company matching, and double your donation!) As mentioned in Ms. Flores-Aikey’s email we have a modified Picture Day(s) Schedule (see below). We will need several volunteers to help make the day run smoothly. If you are interested, please CLICK HERE to fill out a form and indicate how you can help. You will be contacted to confirm your volunteer assignment. Have a wonderful weekend! Angelique Barry Cabrillo PTO President |
