Our Parent-Teacher Organization consists of parents and teachers working together to support and enrich all Cabrillo students.

Our PTO is a team effort in which we cannot succeed on our own. We support school staff, help promote student self-esteem, and assist in efforts to solve school needs through volunteers and fundraising.

Research shows that students whose parents are involved in their education have better grades and fewer discipline problems. Involvement at the school also makes it easier to establish friendships with teachers and other parents.

We promise that the time you give for the school will be worth your while and fun! Together, we can make a difference! We don’t expect a huge time commitment from volunteers. Just a couple of hours at an event or in the classroom can be a big help to our school, and we have committees, positions and tasks to fit all schedules and interests. Just let us know whether a program, event, or activity interests you and when you might be free to help. (You don’t even have to come to the school or attend a meeting to be involved.)

Mission Statement

  • To provide our teachers with the resources they need to successfully accomplish their mission of educating our children in a nurturing environment that instills a love of learning and a strong sense of community.
  • To implement and support the K-8 Creative Arts Program, financially and through the use of volunteers and paid personnel.
  • To build strong relationships between Cabrillo parents and staff by acting as a conduit for communication.
